Injector Invalid Dead Time, PLEASE!

Postby amdeman » Mon Feb 15, 2010 10:07 am

Hi there,

who knows WHERE to find the 'Latency' or 'Invalid Dead Time' for a set of 440cc S15injectors (or the 480cc versions)?

OOOOORRRRR how to work it out?

Open the stock S15 injector base map in Bikirom.
Go to General settings
copy the stock IDT setting ;)
Dont use the K value though, as that is set for the ECU etc.
Formula for new K value is:
old K value(for example 100) x old injector cc's(say 330cc) / new injector value(say 440cc) = new K value(in this case 75) resulting in less milliseconds of pulsewidth to account for the extra flow :)
VQ35DE equiped N14 Pulsar - Bikirom tuned :)
Twin throttle, 12.7:1CR, Kelford Spec C cams, Cosworth Valvetrain, 6>2>1 extractors, 2005 Altima SE-R HLSD FWD 6spd and an E85 tune
Nice lazy 375+Hp@front treads
